Home » The Prelude | Season 1, Episode 1
In this first episode of the inaugural season, I recount my steps as an aspiring filmmaker immediately before and after the Michael Vick dogfighting case began in the spring of 2007.
“The Prelude” begins by explaining where I was in life when the calendar year flipped to 2007, and what led to the decision to make my directorial debut in documentary film about animal cruelty.
Unable to narrow down a subject matter for several months, that all changed on the morning of April 25, 2007. I didn’t find my topic, my topic found me.
This episode concludes with a chance encounter with a dog named Preston – marking the moment my life changed forever.
